Upgrade your Browser

To view SVG content you need to upgrade your browser. We recommend you install the latest version of either the Firefox or Opera browser. These browsers are modern, fast and standards-compliant and do not require the installation of an additional plugin to support SVG.

If you prefer, you may also choose to install Internet Explorer v6 or above, but if you do you will also need to install the Adobe SVG plugin.

To install Firefox

Firefox is a good choice for PCs running Windows.

1. Go to http://www.mozilla.com/firefox/
2. Click the download link
3. When prompted to save the file, take note of where you are saving the file so that you can find and run the installer once the download is complete.
4. Once the download is complete, double-click the installer file to begin the installation.
5. When the install is complete, launch Firefox and navigate back to this site.

To install Opera

Opera is a good choice for Macintosh OS X or Windows computers.

1. Go to http://www.opera.com/download/
2. Click the download link
3. When prompted to save the file, take note of where you are saving the file so that you can find and run the installer once the download is complete.
4. Once the download is complete, double-click the installer file to begin the installation.
5. When the install is complete, launch Opera and navigate back to this site.

To install Internet Explorer

1. Go to http://www.microsoft.com/ie/
2. Click the download link
3. When prompted to save the file, take note of where you are saving the file so that you can find and run the installer once the download is complete.
4. Once the download is complete, double-click the installer file to begin the installation.
5. When the install is complete, launch Internet Explorer and navigate to the Adobe SVG download site, http://www.adobe.com/svg/install/. Follow the instructions there to install the SVG plugin.
